Hello I’m Galen Reich, founder of ALIGN BUILD and I’m a Carpenter by Trade. Are you ready for a renovation experience with a seasoned builder and select team of Trades?

After 25 years of Renovating & Building, I started ALIGN BUILD to be a superior renovator, providing exceptional experiences for my local community. Combining my tradesman knowledge and project leadership skills, I’ve created successful systems for projects of all shapes and sizes. Renovations should be an exciting and enjoyable process while upgrading and expanding your home environment. It’s disruptive, but it does not have to be unpredictable.

Let me show you how I can accomplish your goals with an efficient, well communicated process. I love to create a project plan with the right team of professionals aligned for optimal performance.

Quality Craftsmanship with Trade Professionals : As a carpenter & finisher, I perform work with high expectations. I also use trade partners, depending on the project. I assemble the best team to work hand and hand with to deliver an exceptional renovation experience. I have vast resources with trusted partners and vendors.

Proven Materials & Methods : There are no shortcuts to a quality product, only efficiencies on the approach. I avoid marginal materials and use proven strategies for sequencing and timing to provide minimal disturbance time frames.

Transparent Communication : From our introduction to final completion, I will provide clear and transparent communication throughout the process. I’m committed to ensuring intensions, scope and delivery are aligned every step of the way.

Architects & Design Build : I have worked with hundreds of Architects over the years and will happily work with yours. I prefer to be involved with your Architect from the beginning so we can do constructability reviews as design progresses. I also have a few architects I work with to provide a Design Build process.

Kitchen & Bath Renovations

Complete reconfigurations of Kitchens & Bathrooms with Heated Floors, Waterproof Venitian Plaster, Pedistal Tubs, Custom Tile and Countertop’s Window Replacements & Cedar Pergolas. Of coarse behind all the finishes the structural reconfigurations required to make it all happen. I was Leading the Charge and in many cases doing the work myself with all of these projects.

Additions

Open format Kitchen & Bath creation with structural beams , New Porch and Sun Room Addition and Basement Addition created under an existing 2nd floor addition. These projects had their own unique challenges from using multiple style beams and posts to transfer loads, underpinning an existing foundation to matching existing styles and footprints.

New Construction

Progress photos from various points in my career showcase : Framing a convex ceiling system, radius & elliptical walls , stacked window installations & curved plaster staircase railings. Planning and making timber framed trusses , living roof , custom kitchens and bathrooms. I can tell a story with each one of these photo’s and the amount of pride put into each project.
